1. Add the KA 7 Road Base Stabiliser
directly to the full water truck in the ratio of one liter
of KA 7 Road Base Stabiliser to 300 liters of water. Spray
KA 7 Road Base Stabiliser solution over the base soil to be
treated reaching it’s water optimum. Properly scare
face soil back and forth using a grader until you have a homogeneous
and cohesive base material, i.e. until soil colour changes
and becomes on e uniform colour.
2. Properly compact base material as following.
a) Make (2) two passes without using the compactor’s
vibrator to protect the surface layer.
b) Make (8) eight passes with the compactor
using vibrator.
Note: Properly closing the soils, pores
will create a water proof case not to allow water cannot penetrate.
Hence, KA 7 Road Base Stabiliser is 100 % water proof.
To make Super Highways, two layers are to be made each of
20 ccm’s.(Please note that the compactor will only stabilize
the maximum of only 25 ccm’s. This will carry any load
put on it each year, it will progressively get stronger unlike
the traditional system.
For State roads, the base layer of 25 ccm is sufficient to
carry any loads.
Asphalt of concrete layer can be laid as soon as the base
layer is dry which is usually within 48 to 72 hours maximum.
The system requires three standard pieces of equipments.
1. A Grader.
2. A water tank with sprayer.
3. A 25.0 ton compactor.
